Following hot on the heels of the seminal double album London Calling, triple whammy Sandinista! must have been a mouth watering prospect if you were a fan of their unparalleled blend of punk, rock, pop, reggae, soul (*deep breath…*), ska, funk, jazz and rockabilly of way back in 1980. If, however, you are a blogger in 2013, trying your best to write a new post every single 24 hours, then the prospect of a 36 track, 144 minute looooong album is the stuff of bloody nightmares.

It’s not as good as London Calling and it’s a whole lot longer.
